The Governing Body of St Michael's School

 

 

  The Governing Body of St Michael's School is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the school. It is made up of 18 governors representing all sections of the school community. There are four foundation governors appointed by the Diocese; six parent governors; four staff governors; two LEA governors; and two community governors.

  

The full governing body meets generally three or four times per year. There are three committees, which meet more frequently:

  • Curriculum Committee
  • Finance and Staffing
  • Property and Buildings (including Health and Safety)
