From March 11th we wil be collecting Tesco computer vouchers along with old mobile phones and used inkjet cartridges.       We are also collecting Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers.

Attendance Matters

Good attendance at school is absolutely vital to ensure your child makes the best possible progress.

We ask parents to be aware of our attendance policy (attached below). The key points are:

  • Holiday absence of up to 10 days may be authorised by the headteacher during the course of the school year. A request must be in writing IN ADVANCE - preferably before booking (in case of refusal). Previous attendance is taken into account. Please contact the office for a form, or download one below
  • NO ABSENCE WILL BE GRANTED IN SEPTEMBER OR APRIL/MAY BEFORE/DURING SATS.
  • More than 5 days unauthorised absence runs the risk of a fine.
  • Children arriving after 8.55 will be marked late.
  • Please phone the school if your child is unwell/unable to attend.
  • Please try to arrange dentist/other appointments outside school hours.
  • Attendance is monitored regularly, and poor attendance is always followed up
